kitchen makeovers

  • Are you tired of your old kitchen cabinets?
  • Do you have broken doors and drawers?
  • Are you cabinet and bench top colours outdated?
  • Do you have burn marks in your bench top?
  • Does the high cost of replacing you kitchen stop you from doing something about it?

If you answer YES to any of these questions, resurfacing could be the answer for you.

Kitchens are a key selling point to any home. An old, tired, out dated kitchen will significantly affect the value and appeal of your home.
Traditionally the kitchen has always been the most expensive area of the home to renovate. Sustainable Makeovers now offer a way of renovating your kitchen at around 1/3 of the cost and with less environmental impact , by simply resurfacing.
Weather you have a timber or laminex kitchen, we can repair chips, burns, stains, cracks and resurface your kitchen doors and fixed panels in a high gloss or satin finish colour of your choice.
Your splash back tiles can be re grouted and resurfaced in a high gloss colour.
Damage to your bench top can be repaired and then resurfaced with a wide range faux granite colours.
We also have a large range of handles to choose from and can supply and fit stainless steel kickers.

Eco-friendly solution

The environmental impact is minimal when renovating your kitchen with Sustainable Makeovers.
We use a range of high quality coatings made by Napco, that are low in Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) compliant with the new USA EPA Clean Air Regulations, giving us the biggest green tick of approval to date for a Resurfacing product.
Reduce landfill down to one or two garbage bags compared with traditional renovations that can use up to two garbage skips of waste.
Once your tiled splash back has been resurfaced the grout lines will still be visible but completely sealed, removing the need to use harsh abrasive chemicals to scrub grease out of grout lines. This means your grey water is cleaner and less toxic.
One of the main environmental issues for the cabinet making industry is the melamine waste produced during kitchen cabinet manufacturing. By retaining your existing cabinetry and simply resurfacing it, you eliminate the need to waste large amounts of timber and melamine. Saving a slowly growing natural resource.
Being ecologically aware doesn't have to entail sacrifice or high expense. There's no better way to save the environment and save some serious money (around 1/3 of the cost of traditional renovations) than a more eco-friendly kitchen renovation by Sustainable Makeovers.
